Also, if you haven't signed up for the RecWeek retreat yet, tomorrow is the deadline for early registration! The price jumps up by $20 after this Friday, April 24th. Scholarships are available, however it would be best to register by the early deadline to be eligible for them.

Large Group will be special this week because we are going to watch a movie! Amazing Grace is based on the true story of William Wilberforce, an 18th-century British politician who fought to end slavery in Britain. Only 21 when he was elected to Parliament, it was more than two decades long that he persevered through to bring action to this injustice. There will be a time for discussion after the movie and, also as a follow up to Day of Chains, a time to see what actions we want to take ourselves against this serious issue.
Food will be provided, donations of $1-2 are greatly appreciated.

We just wanted to let you all know that this Friday will be the last Large Group fellowship until after spring break and we have a room change- it will be in MSC 206 7pm. We told you that this Friday we would be playing Amazing Grace, but we're actually going to move that to April 3rd to debrief the "Day of Chains" event on April 2nd.
Instead, we're going to have a speaker from Aggie InterVarsity (Grant Helmreich) talk on the image of God and the sex trafficking problem in the US and TX to continue our social injustice topic.
Large Group is held on Fridays at 7 p.m. in Koldus 110. It is a time where we can take a break from our busy lives to come together as a big fellowship to worship God.
